Individual cabin cruise
Reservations and methods of payment
Following your request, a reservation form will be sent to you.
A 50% deposit upon booking confirms your registration.
The balance must be paid 4 weeks before departure.
Payment of the deposit and the entire cruise implies that the participant accepts all of our terms and conditions. Your cruise will be definitively confirmed upon receipt of the first payment.
To carry out the contract and the crew list with the Greek maritime authorities, Escale Yachting requires information for each participant: Name, first name, address, e-mail, telephone, date of birth, nationality, gender , identity card number or passport (valid), sailing level. This information is confidential. They will not be disclosed or used for purposes other than those defined above.
If you already have a sailing license or if you are learning, we offer you the opportunity to complete your experience and acquire the nautical miles necessary for your training.
Fares and on-board cash register
For cabin rentals, participation may vary depending on the type of cruise.
We generally have a low season rate, a mid season rate and a high season rate. The public price corresponds to the rental of a shared cabin for one person (double bed or bunk bed). A 70% surcharge is required for cabin privatization.
The rate for children aged 7 to 12 is 70% of the adult rate for the first child and 50% for the second child.
The price includes : Accommodation on the yacht (in a shared double cabin with a double bed or bunk beds depending on availability), skipper services, on-board insurance. bedding and towel.
If you want a single, non-shared cabin, an additional 70% contribution will be required.
A cash box is set up on boarding for all cruise expenses.
It will be used to cover expenses relating to: All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in the tavern and on board the sailboat (supervision included) as well as marina, water, electricity and fuel costs. and cleaning the sailboat at the end of the cruise.
Bar drinks, transfers, vehicle rental, visits to sites and museums are not included in the on-board cash register.
Claim
If during the cruise you have encountered problems and you have reason to complain, you must immediately inform the skipper and the secretariat. EscaleYachting.
Insurance on board sailboats
All our sailboats are insured, this insurance covers all participants during the cruise in the event of accidents, serious damage and bodily injury.
If, during the cruise, you happen to lose or damage equipment on board, during a maneuver, you will be asked for a deposit of €80, which will be used to cover the repair or replacement costs.
If the sailboat is immobilized during the cruise due to technical or mechanical problems, Escale Yachting is responsible for finding a replacement sailboat to continue the cruise. If this is not possible, Escale Yachting will reimburse all days lost, with its on-board cash register. The first 24 hours of immobilization will not be counted.
If during the cruise you have encountered problems and you have reason to complain, you must immediately inform the skipper and the Escale Yachting secretariat.
Documents for your stay
All cruise participants must have a valid identity card or passport. If the participant does not have this document, he will not be able to take part in the cruise. In this case, no compensation or reimbursement could be requested.
Physical and medical conditions
Each participant in the cruise declares on their honor to be able to practice sailing and to have the physical and mental conditions to do so. Any medical follow-up must be reported to Escale Yachting at the time of booking and to the skipper upon boarding.. Participants taking special treatment and (or) requiring specific care during the cruise must also report this to the skipper. Don't forget your personal medications because it will be difficult to find the equivalent without a prescription. No special vaccination is required.
Guaranteed departures - Cancellation conditions
Departures are guaranteed from 4 participants per cruise. If the number of participants is not required, we can combine our cruise programs. We can also cancel the cruise if the number of participants is not sufficient.
We will then refund the entire amount paid, without the participant being able to claim any compensation (21 days before the scheduled departure date of the cruise).
We can also honor our departures with fewer people registered, in which case we will confirm the cruise as soon as you book.
We may have to cancel or postpone the cruise before the departure date for reasons of security, epidemics, social events, strikes, natural disasters, etc. In this case, as our responsibility is not engaged, we will not refund the cruise. Another date will be offered to you, flights and additional costs remaining at your expense.
If you cancel your trip, you must inform us in writing. The date of receipt determines the fees deducted from the amount of the cruise.
No fees more than 30 days before departure,
25% from 29 to 21 days before departure,
50% from 20 to 8 days before departure,
75% from 7 to 2 days before departure,
100% less than 2 days before departure.
In the event of cancellation on your part, €80 will be retained for secretarial costs. We advise each participant to take out travel cancellation and repatriation insurance.
Private cruise
Request for private yacht charter with or without skipper
Escale Yachting offers you the rental of sailboats or motor yachts, with or without a skipper.

It is necessary for the rental that at least one person among the crew is a qualified skipper able to demonstrate his experience, if you do not have the skills we can provide you with a skipper.
Each boat includes standard equipment and is equipped with modern navigation safety equipment, allowing you to spend your holidays in the best conditions of safety and pleasure.
The rental is based on a standard contract, approved by the Greek Ministry of Merchant Marine and by the Hellenic National Tourism Organization.
We will be happy to advise you and make you a proposal without any obligation on your part.
In general the rental takes place from Saturday to Saturday but other days are also possible:
Boarding and Check-in at 17 p.m. Landing and Check-out at 9 a.m.
Other arrangements can be made by special agreement. For Check-in, you will be given a list of boat inventory that you must check.
A manager on site will be happy to explain the essential elements for the proper functioning of the sailboat. Do not hesitate to ask him any questions you deem useful for getting started with your boat.
On the way back, we inspect the sailboat together, which must be left clean, with a full tank of water and fuel.
Booking and Payment Terms
Your reservation must be made in writing and returned to us by email or post.

This information is confidential and will not be disclosed for purposes other than those defined above.
A deposit of 50% upon reservation.

We definitively confirm your cruise by email or mail upon receipt of the advance and we send the invoice and the rental contract in five copies to be returned to us signed with a photocopy of the sailing license or sea license of the main skipper .
In general, VAT is included in the rental price.
In some cases VAT is not included in the price, this is valid for private rentals of large catamarans for more than 8 participants with crew. It will therefore be necessary to add it to the public price.
The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) must also be paid beforehand The APA is an advance on provision that customers pay before boarding. It is used to pay the daily expenses inherent in chartering a yacht. This advance is intended to make life easier for everyone on board. The captain has funds to pay the current expenses of the yacht. For their part, customers do not have to make a payment for each transaction.
At the end of their cruise, customers receive an invoice with all receipts and details of expenses. If the APA has not been used in full, the remaining difference is returned. If the expenses are greater than the APA, they will need to top up the missing funds upon their return.
Here is a summary of the expenses included in the APA: Expenses for fuel, water and electricity; expenses for food and cooking on board; mooring fees; communication and internet costs; cleaning costs at the end of the cruise.****
A refundable security deposit is requested upon embarkation to cover the excess and must be paid in cash or by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD). This deposit is returned when the boat is returned in the event of no accident or damage. The security deposit varies from one boat to another between 1000 and 3000 euros.
Depending on the boarding base and the type of boat, additional costs may or may not be included in the rental price (end-of-cruise cleaning, bedding, outboard motor, etc.). In this case we will inform you of the additional cost when you request information.
Experience and Qualification of the skipper
In accordance with Greek regulations, two skippers must be on board, for the safety of the crew and the sailboat.
One of the skippers must have a sailing license or sea permit, proving their skills.
The second skipper, if he does not have a license, can make a sworn declaration upon boarding. Don't forget to take the originals with you, they can be presented to the Greek authorities upon departure of the charter.

Cancellation policy for rental
Cancellation fees are calculated according to the period between the cancellation date and the departure date:
For reservations canceled 99 days or more before departure, 30% of the deposit is retained.
For reservations canceled 98-45 days before departure, 50% of the deposit is retained.
For reservations canceled 44-0 days before departure, 100% of the deposit is retained.
In the event of cancellation on your part, 80 euros per participant will be retained for secretarial costs.
